Microsoft SkyDrive Renamed As OneDrive With Bonus 8GB 

Microsoft has changed the name of SkyDrive to OneDrive. British Sky Broadcasting, the biggest TV broadcaster in UK filed a lawsuit against Microsoft for the name SkyDrive. BskyB is already using the brand word Sky on many of their services like Sky Go, Sky Broadband. Justice goes against Microsoft and they agreed to rename their service SkyDrive soon. As a result they announced on January 27, 2014 their renamed brand OneDrive.

They also promised regarding the improvement and enhancement of their newly launched OneDrive with many mouthful services. Right now they provide their subscribers 7GB of free storage space, but soon they are going to offer extra 8GB of bonus storage space along with 7GB free storage. Users can get this extra bonus storage by syncing their Smartphones, digital camera, tablets and invite their friends for joining OneDrive family. For every friend invitation you will get 500MB storage, you can grow up to 5GB of storage place by asking over your friends. The rest of the 3GB you can get by synchronizing your Smartphone, tablet or Digital camera. They also permit users to share folders, edit or erase files
